Haverhill Trails Committee

Helpful Information:

Haverhill Trails Committee logoStatement:
The Haverhill Trails Committee (HTC) was created in 1993 as a result of a project - the creation of the Merrimack River Trail. The HTC continues to thrive under the direction of the Conservation Department.Pathways newsletter logo

Our goal is to create, maintain and enhance the hiking trails network, not only along the Merrimack River, but throughout the 36 square miles of woods, fields and shores of Haverhill.

Members are all volunteers and Haverhill residency is not a requirement. Our group also organizes many fun activities such as hikes, x-country skiing, social events and day trips.

Trail work activities are scheduled throughout the year, and the work session usually lasts a few hours. Sometimes we may work with other groups, such as the Haverhill Lakes Alliance or Haverhill's Brightside.

Meetings are held once a month (weekday evenings at 6:00pm for about an hour) at the Haverhill Conservation Department Office, Room 205 in City Hall.
